Title |
Justice flows like a mighty river: Finding our way home. |
Summary |
"Participants are invited to celebrate what has been gained in the historical relationship between the Catholic Church and the Sto:lo people, but also to acknowledge and lament what has been lost and the suffering that persists today through centuries of colonization. Participants will analyze the challenge of Sto:lo self-determination in light of authentic social, economic and cultural development that guarantees respect for the dignity of individuals and peoples. These are foundational principles in the tradition of Catholic social teachings. We hope that the collective relfection occasioned by these workshops will contribute to a greater understanding of the spiritual dimension of the journey of Sto:lo people towards self-dimension and will facilitate community action." taken from p.
